Privacy
Save the Solar System! does not require an account. This edition keeps your game progress and scores on your own device.
Game data stored in your browser
The game saves continuation progress and the Top 20 pilot scores in browser storage on this device. These records are protected with a key generated in the browser. The pilot name you enter and your control preference are also remembered locally so you do not have to re-enter them each time.
The game does not send pilot names, scores, or saved progress to a shared game database. Other devices and browsers have separate records. Clearing this site's browser data removes your local save, scores, name preference, and control choice.
Site delivery
The website is delivered through Google Firebase Hosting. As with other websites, your browser sends request information to the hosting provider so it can deliver the page and its files. Google's Privacy Policy explains how Google handles information in its services.
Advertising
The current game does not load Google ad units or the AdSense ad script. Its publisher verification tag and ads.txt file identify the site's AdSense account; they do not themselves display ads. If advertising is added later, this page will be updated to explain any data use and cookie choices before ads are shown.
Your choices
You can play without entering a personal name; the game supplies a generic pilot name if needed. You can mute sound in the game. You can remove locally saved game data at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
